Wrong Again!

Our temps may be creeping toward the century mark but The Bird is staying open until July 4!! That gives me ample time to test my new Vans Snowboard boots and K2 Cinch bindings. I'm no expert but I'm counting on these latest advances to get me up and carving Little Cloud because that's all there's open. I may have to take the skis out tomorrow or Memorial Day though in the hopes of hiking to the Baldy chutes with the gang. No way could I make it down on a board.
Ryan's out of town visiting his family in Massachusetts so I get a load of free time to catch up on writing. In fact, I hit The Spur for the first time in ages. The place wasn't packed but it had a fair crowd. Motherlode was playing and a handful of cuties checked me out. I forgot what it felt like to be single. Two hotties even offered to buy my drink. It's cool though. Ryan is the best guy I've ever had in my life, I;d never mess that up. Despite his youth, he puts Greg, Kent, Steve, Drew, the Bills, Duncan, Tim, etc. to shame.
BTW, the new issue of the Sports Guide is out. Take a look and let me know what you think. I honestly relish constructive feedback; even if you piss me off and I have to come after you. Just kidding!
We head to Vail for the Teva Mountain Games this Thursday through Sunday. Tenaya's chomping to enter the Ultimate Dog Challenge. for info on the games go to www.tevamountaingames.com. Ok, I'm outta here. I just finished my Saturrday night shift on The Blaze. Nikki Vann won't be back on the air until June 18. Off to bed and then barbecue tomorrow at Molly's. Have a great Memorial Day. And congratulations, Will, on the new baby!!
